Chocolate Musicians

Músicos de chocolate

"Musicians" are a traditional Catalan dessert that usually consists of a handful of nuts served with a small glass of sweet wine. In this version, we reinvent the concept by turning them into elegant discs of pure dark chocolate decorated with the finest fruits of the land. By using Stevia + Eritrytol 1:1 de Castelló , we balance the intensity of the cocoa without adding refined sugars, turning it into a gourmet treat rich in antioxidants and healthy fats, ideal to enjoy with coffee or to give as a gift.

Estimated time: 20 minutes (plus setting time).

Difficulty: ⭐.

Servings: 4 people.

Number of servings and extra details:

This recipe serves 4 people (about 12-16 discs). It is an extremely simple dessert but visually very appealing. The dark chocolate, rich in flavonoids, combined with the heart-healthy properties of nuts, makes this sweet a nutritious option. Thanks to a touch of Bonsalt 0%, we bring out the deep notes of the cocoa and the toasted flavor of the nuts in an exceptional and healthy way.

Step-by-Step Professional Preparation

1. Melting the chocolate:

Chop the dark chocolate and melt it in a bain-marie or in the microwave (in 30-second intervals to prevent it from burning). Once melted and glossy, add the Stevia + Eritrytol 1:1 de Castelló and mix well until fully incorporated.

2. The flavor secret:

Add a pinch of Bonsalt 0% to the melted chocolate. This small touch adds no sodium, but acts as a powerful enhancer that will make the flavor of the dark chocolate much deeper and more complex.

3. Shaping the discs:

On a tray lined with baking paper or a silicone mat, spoon out the chocolate into circles about 5-6 cm in diameter. Using the back of the spoon, spread the chocolate slightly so the discs are thin and even.

4. "Musician" decoration:

Before the chocolate sets, place an almond, a hazelnut, a piece of walnut, and a couple of raisins on each disc in a balanced way. Press lightly so they are firmly anchored to the chocolate.

5. Setting:

Let cool at room temperature in a cool place until the chocolate is completely hard. If you're in a hurry, you can put them in the fridge for about 10 minutes, although the chocolate keeps its shine better at room temperature.

These chocolate musicians are the perfect touch to surprise your guests. Go ahead and make them, and enjoy a handmade, crunchy bite full of healthy energy!
